Staying at the Governor’s Inn you might realize that you share your room with a cat – a porcelain cat that is. In each room as well as some other locations throughout the inn we have these cats from Rosina Wachtmeister. Rosina Wachtmeister is an Austrian artist known for her paintings of cats (at least that is what we know her for). She works with Goebel (the German porcelain maker known for their figurines) to create these cats.
Indian summer is still in full swing and leaves are still on the trees, but we already start to look ahead to the next season. Winter and snow will be here before we know it. With Okemo Mountain Resort less than a mile away from The Governor’s Inn we are closely following the procedures they put in place for skiing at their resort this winter.
