The Cats of the Inn

Staying at the Governor’s Inn you might realize that you share your room with a cat – a porcelain cat that is. In each room as well as some other locations throughout the inn we have these cats from Rosina Wachtmeister. Rosina Wachtmeister is an Austrian artist known for her paintings of cats (at least that is what we know her for). She works with Goebel (the German porcelain maker known for their figurines) to create these cats.

As we love cats and have Marcus and Mazie living with us in our quarters it was just natural for us to have and display these cats throughout the inn. Enjoy them while staying at The Governor’s Inn!
